WHY I DO,what I do…

WHY I DO,what I do… *

It’s a passion and a huge honour to walk with people on their journey of learning to live freely and lightly.

I believe strongly in the gift of a space that’s open, attentive and secure. A place that’s non-anxious, non-judgemental and invites you to be truly seen and heard.

Here, curiosity and vulnerability partner with us on a journey to uncover the things that keep us captive. We examine origin wounds and their impact on our present day. We seek awareness of what stops us embracing the full and unique experience in the truth of who we are.

Fear, guilt and shame can easily convince us to hide, to cover up and/or to simply try harder. Left unattended these slave drivers end up with control and eventually exhaust us. This leads to many areas of our lives struggling in dark, painful and often lonely places.

The courage that accepts the invite to turn within and bravely cast light onto these shadows has company in my mentoring space.

Consider me your
adventure companion.

We’ll link arms on a journey to discover the truth of your identity and I’ll cheer you on as you cross onto news paths of freedom.

An extension of hope, offering stabilisation in uncertain season, gentle deconstruction of what no longer serves, and intentional rebuilding rooted in authenticity, presence, and lived experience - creating space for embodied, enduring change.

~ Amanda Cox

wondering about mentoring..?

Amanda has an incredible heart and gift to create a safe, sacred space for people to be seen & heard, to share real authentic stories, encounter acceptance in their pain & struggles, & experience the embrace of knowing they are not alone on their journey. The whole environment sings restore, renew & rest. It is a privilege and pleasure to be invited to participate and share in such a healing space to “be”.

Learning about myself and the way I am different to other people has really helped with compassion for myself and for others, including family. It is amazing the impact it has being heard, seen and accepted just as we are.

The work I have done with Amanda has had a surprising ripple effect in many areas of my life. Working on myself first has been just what our family needed. It has changed the way I see myself, which in turn has changed how I see others. This flows on to create more authentic connections. It felt a bit awkward to begin with, but is now starting to impact our family culture in a really healthy and positive way.

I felt like I was drowning and failing my whole family, you didn’t just throw mw a life raft, you lifted me back on the boat and sailed me safely home, and have given me the strength and knowledge to keep going.

Thank you so much for your time and your patient listening. I am so deeply grateful for your insight. There is a new understanding I am joyfully processing. It has been so liberating.

Kings Baptist Grammar School, South Australia

"Implementing Oasis at our school resulted in sharing life changing truths in a highly engaging way. Our staff were equipped through the Professional Development Day to guide our students to explore their inner world and reflect on why they respond the way they do and to accept themselves for who they are. Oasis is the perfect partnership for King’s to see our students flourish”.

In the process of learning to love and accept myself more fully, I have found I have more energy to love others and accept my situation more fully because I am not so drained and depressed by my situation or who I am. Actually, the difference in my energy levels is amazing. I feel like I had trapped myself in a bubble of judgement and unrealistic expectations which was exhausting me and now I am free”.

Amanda has the ability to create such a safe space for everyone to feel seen, heard and included. She has a unique ability to encourage people to be open and vulnerable with one another. This creates such a beautiful opportunity for people to share and be themselves which bring incredible healing.
